Now, let's do some simple math...
There are roughly 298,444,215 people living in the United States (at the time of writing). And, a trillion is a million million, which is 1,000,000,000,000.
$1 TRILLION, split up among all the people living in the US, would give EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US (from babies to seniors) around $3,350!!! When I did the math, I just couldn't believe it. Every single human living in the US is robbed of over three thousand dollars.
What would you like to do with YOUR $3,350?
And if you have a spouse and three children, let's say, then that would be over SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS that would go into helping towards your family's future!
Put another way, let's say that .1% of the US population each had some or other life threatening medical condition for which some expensive medical treatment would save their lives. That would be 298,444 people. From a trillion dollars, each one would receive $3,350,712 worth of medical treatment -- that's over $3 million worth of top notch treatment! That would mean that nearly 300,000 American lives may have been lost because of the invasion of Iraq and its impact on our nation's budget.
