Human existence is an expression of the Universe's vanity. We are components of the Universe and yet can also witness the Universe, therefore we are like an act of the Universe gazing upon itself in a mirror. But we, ourselves, are the mirror device. Through the many species of living organisms, the Universe "sees" itself in different ways, with many different kinds of mirrors. So, all life is an expression of the Universe's "desire" to gaze upon itself.
