Things have been kind of obnoxious the last week or two. At Headspace I've had several deadlines to meet and there seems to have been this interminable flu/cold thing going around. Just when I think I'm clear and over an infection, somebody else comes to work with some dreadful germ that just won't die. So, it's back to influenza hell all over again. This is really beginning to piss me off.
Suffering aside, I've just finished working on a beta release of the Beatnik Actions for NetObjects Fusion, which will allow high-level authors using this tool to easily do sound and music "sonification" of the Web sites they build. It's quite rewarding to see people getting excited about something you've created. This extension to Fusion will hopefully empower many creative minds to set out exploring the new territory of sound and music on the Web.
On Wednesday I went to see the film "Dark City". Really cool!!!! At least, I thought so. It had a dark and surreal mood and look about it that appealed to me a lot. Very much like the idea originated from someone's demented dream. It kind of reminded me, in a small way, of the film "City of Lost Children" which I also really almost had an orgasm over. Well, you know what I mean. Some films are just so damn tasty! Go see this one. It's worth it.
