Just finished recording "Fallen Far Away". This song has totally hypnotised me. I've been listening to it over and over and over.....It's touched some kind of chord within me. Fucking marvellous! Seldom do I enjoy listening to my songs much after I've recorded them. Usually I've listened to them so many dozens of times just in the process of vocal production and mixdown that the songs lose their freshness and I become jaded to the original coolness of the theme or mood. Not this one. It might partly have to do with the fact that I wrote and recorded the song in just one day. I was definitely inspired in the writing of this song. Tapped into some ancient soul.
