The subprime crime will go down as the biggest redistribution of wealth from average folks to the stinking rich in history.
At the end of it all, scores of people will be left with houses worth much less than what they paid (or no houses at all), with obscene amounts of their tax money spent to soothe the criminally negligent financial institutions, retirement investments worth nothing near what they were promised to be worth, and resetting loan interest rates that more than "compensate" for the easy lending, good times past.
When you add to this the theft of taxpayer money through futile wars that enrich the Military Industrial Complex, you see that Americans are the most pathetically impotent suckers on planet Earth - completely incapable of standing up to their criminal government and corporations. All it takes to shut Americans up and switch off their brains is to regurgitate asinine little soundbites, like "9/11", "terrorism", "protect", "patriotism", "freedom", "liberal", "gay marriage", "abortion". Under the cover of this spectacular ignorance, taking America's wealth away from Americans is like stealing candy from a baby.
Rise up, Americans. Be fools no more. Enact fierce retribution upon the elite.
